Thanks. It's not even a real suppressor. It's just a barrel extension like
this one that is made to look like a suppressor. I suppose California wants to remove any chance of a homemade silencer ever touching a gun. But then any backyard machinist who can fabricate a suppressor could also thread a standard barrel to accept it too. So it really makes no sense.
