I am really hoping UVa pulls this one out. I believe they will but have learned over the years not to ever count on anything, either with FSU or with UVa. The Cavs seem to lose a game or two every year that they should win and FSU just seems to have nine lives, surviving almost everyone but Miami.
Just looking at what the two teams have done against common opponents this year, UVa would seem to have the advantage though. They pretty much handled both Clemson and Syracuse while FSU gave up a bunch of points to Clemson and struggled greatly against Syracuse.
I believe the question in this game is whether the FSU defense can stop the Cavs offense. I just don't see FSU putting up a lot of points against a Wahoo defense that has been amazing this year. The key then becomes the Noles forcing turnovers to give their sad offense a short field to work with.
Go Hoos!!!
