I'm a child of the 70s - and had mostly boy type toys - I don't remember that one... But I did have a really nifty bottle cutter - yeah, that was a toy you'd want to give to a kid - a sharp gadget thingie that cut glass and then you were left with sharp cut glass to play with... (Wonder if my parents were subconsiously trying to get rid of me)
The creepy crawler thing was fun - -and it also did a great job of melting Barbie too...
