Damn, I'm glad you mentioned some of that Ella! My number one hate is tailgaters. You'd usually think they'd be P-platers in their Holdens or WRXs but in my experience it's usually middle-aged men in average or luxury cars. I go the speed limit, I don't go over even if there's nobody around, I don't slam on my brakes or block them from going around me. That doesn't mean I go out of my way to let a tailgater pass me, but if it's reasonable I'd rather have them go around than hassle me and keep my looking in my rear-view mirror than concentrating on the road ahead.
Gah, tailgaters piss me off no end. What else... since this is the Aussie forum I'll try and keep it specific...
- Australian Idol... I hate it
- people who boast or claim ignorance about things, as if that's cool. "Australian Idol? What's that? Never seen it! Guy Sebastian? Never heard of him!"
- When you're crossing on a green man, and the car turning left waiting for you to cross just stares at you, urges you on, or goes up further to get around you. My green man overrides your green light, damnit!
- I hate the gamble I play every Thursday morning when I get my Thursday morning coffee. If the chick is hot, I always get cold coffee. If the chick's just normal, I get hot coffee. Odd.
- Asshole bus drivers who think their job is solely to drive a bus, and not to help the customer. I get this all the time.
Apart from all that, I'm pretty happy living in Melbourne!
