They pulled a Michael Clarke Duncan/Kingpin on the Alicia Masters character.

Alicia Masters' was/is The Thing's girlfriend.
I don't know if this is good or bad, but it
is one more inexplicable change in an established classic comic.
It also deprives us lovers of redheads another chance to see a beautiful redheaded woman on the silver screen.
Of course, Kerry is a beautiful woman in her own right.
