Yes im very educated on hip hop, rap, and music in general, but I honestly feel that tupac is not the greatest rapper to ever grace the mic. In my mind, that title belongs to, if anyone, Nas. Illmatic is the greatest rap cd ever made imo and I feel the songs he puts out have far greater "social and political commentary" than pac's songs. Pac in my opinion, which is very well educated, is truly overated if he is deemed no1. Yes he is in my top 5 but he is not my no1. One only needs to check out Nas' lost tapes to see the verstatilty of nasir's music and the depth within each of his songs.
