you can't really compare those games;
diablo 2 is big fun,but it hasn't a very original story,and it is allways the same,but it is fun,and i have played it for a long time,and i liked it very much.but the main problem of diablo 2 is that the story sucks.the cut srenes are amazing,but what use do they have if there ain't a good story
war craft 3 has a fascinating story,with heroes you can identify with,the game itsself is very good,it is well balanced and i've been playing it for over 2 years,and still it is fun.
so both are great games,but i choose war craft 3 !
