I'm not actually in the service, but I'm a defense contractor working with the Army. I guess they're similar in some ways... I'm on and off post in Monmouth, Polk, Sill, Stewart, Aberdeen, WSMR, and I get yelled at by a lieutenant colonel every now and then.
I'm also a member of
AUSA and will be showing off some of our new hardware at the upcoming tradeshow. I've thought seriously in the past about enlisting, but I've always been a scrawny computer geek. It only makes sense for me to serve my country the best way I can. I take a lot of pride making sure you guys have the best technology available out their in the field.
By the way, it occurred to me that discussion is inherently flawed because many of the people that should be posting to this thread are probably without internet access overseas.
