I agree with you 100%!!!
I personally don't pay attention to the lyrics of a lot of songs now. I just want to listen to something that makes me move. I think the appeal is the emotion coming from the music, which makes people want to react to it. It's just something different from alot of the rock music here, and the language difference is definetly a big reason for that. And the fire. Can't forget about the fire.
