Gannon's good, but he hasn't played very well at all these last two seasons. Last season was a fucking joke and the few games he played both pre- and regular season he looked like shined shit. Waiting in the goddamn pocket, jerking back and forth and scrambling. Not that he shouldn't be scrambling, but he's getting up there and should certainly know better than to drop his fucking shoulder and try to power a few more yards out of the run.
For as much supposed talent there is supposed to be on this team, I for one aint' seen shit. Every week, all the tv guys talk about Kerry Collins, Tyrone Wheatley, Gallery, Porter, Zereoue (I hope I spelled that right) and Jerry Fuckin' Rice. They talk about how talented the ball team is. I for one have yet to be impressed. I have yet to see these guys put together an outstanding drive and sustain the momentum.
Don't get me started on the defense. Jeezy Chreezy these guys are supposed to be great. Woodson, Buchannan x2, Warren Sapp and Big Ted, all commendable players, but can't seem to stop anything consistently. Instead they let the other guys march downfield, seemingly at will. It's just fucking irritating to see these guys be down by 14 and watch them celebrating when they stop one in the backfield. Try to stop'em all, dickhead! Do they understand how embarassing it is to see them do that stupid "you ain't going nowhere" celebration when they're down by 21? They've been going "nowhere" on you all day. You want to celebrate now?!?!
They can't possibly do any worse than last season, but five wins is a long way away.
Norv Turner's weak. Kerry Collins is weak. This whole team is weak. Warren Sapp should keep his mouth shut until he earns the right to open it, Tui should start against Denver and Curry and Whitted need to see more passes their way.
