yeah i've manually pointed it to the drivers many many times -- it installs the driver and then gives the error after reboot.
I just uninstalled the device, the hardware wizard finds it, tries installing the drivers and then give me the same error :P it's maddening. (especially since i'm trying to resist installing sims2 on my work laptop
).
