As a SOONER Alum, this run has been great and I'm not sure it's over yet. Next year will bring a lot of interesting changes to both teams. OU will lose a Heisman winning QB that they haven't even utilized this year, but more importantly the O line will have a number of new faces and the wide reciever corp will look a lot different. For what it is worth, Mark Clayton in addition to being a great reciever is also a devastating (and I use the word purposely) blocker. The trenches were clearly dominated by OU. AP will be be challenged to be so dominant without those guys, though he is a truly special player. The defense likely won't drop off much. Texas loses Benson and Derrick Johnson. Those will be big shoes to fill. Especially Johnson, who I thought was misused in the past, but getting him outside and letting him use his athleticism was a big upgrade. The wide reciever corp will get better with time. I still think Texas would be better if they used Mock to give them some balance and put Young in the reciever corp. With his speed and size I think he'd be a very tough match up for any secondary. Enough of this. Another year of bragging rights, and a couple of pitchers of beer supplied by my UT workmates.
