The Kollector's Edition/Premium Pack isn't worth the extra money, the "arcade-perfect" port of Mortal Kombat sucks total ass, the controls aren't as responsive as they were in the arcade, and the sound is crappy (compared to the arcade's). And the video that is included is the same video that was in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, which showcased Mortal Kombat's history and timeline, except with Mortal Kombat: Deception added in to the history.
Also, the Nintendo GameCube version of Mortal Kombat: Deception will not be in stores until 2005.
Out of the PS2 and Xbox versions, I feel the Xbox version is superior. (Slightly) better graphics, Dolby Digital 5.1 support, and smoother online play. The controls in both versions are still somewhat unresponsive compared to other fighting games.
