no offense, but maybe you should browse through his catalog again

. i think kubrick new people very well, seeing how well he portrays outside elements affecting his characters. almost all of his films deal with the issue of dehuminization, so might it be fitting that they might be lacking with "human" emotion? i think the scene where cowboy dies in FMJ if full of emotion. did you not try to keep youself from sqirming out of your chair when alex was forced to watch the films to beethoven? maybe i didnt understand your rationalization but it was really broad, care to elaborate?
