Bootcamp: Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes
"A" School: Naval Air Technical Training Center, Millington TN. The school has since moved to Pensacola. Follow-on training at Naval Air Maintenance Training Unit, Cecil Field, which has also closed.
Duty Stations:
Naval Air Station Oceana AIMD Sea Operational Detachment, Virginia Beach 1996-2000. Deployed aboard USS Kitty Hawk (1997) and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower twice (98 and 2000). Rotated to shore duty at AIMD from 2000-2003.
USS George Washington (CVN-73), Norfolk, VA. Deployed for the 2004 cruise.

Ports visited: St. Maarten, D/FWI, Nassau Bahamas, Souda Bay (x2), Corfu (x2) and Rhodes Greece, Naples (x2) and Trieste Italy, Cartagena Spain, Perth Australia, Hobart Tasmania, Marseilles and Cannes France, Antalya Turkey (x2), Haifa Israel, Dubrovnik Croatia, Lisbon Portugal, Bahrain, and of course, the sandbox, Jebel Ali UAE (x7). I've also made stops in Key West and Pearl Harbor.
It's been the best time of my life. In fact, I'm re-enlisting for 6 more years on my 30th birthday, the 29th of this month. $30,000 SRB! Can't turn that down.
