...something struck me today to write this...It is one of my first attempts at poetry...constructive crticism would be great:

-Hoods-

you kill us on your beaches
you kill us in your sands
how can you ever rest with this blood upon your hands

living in a world of hate
what can you possibly love
it cant be your people
it cant be your brothers
it cant be your god above

keep dragging us behind your trucks
keep chopping off our heads
keep killing children, intimidating your peers
and filling our lives with dread

always in the name of god
you blame assign your blame to him
well i dont buy it you mutherfuckers
you are just evil men.

keep your hoods on your heads you ugly cowards
keep burning your crosses and bombing your towers
keep living your lives looking for others
to scare, destroy and make you feel more than powerless

to normal life you cant relate,
you bring nothing to this world but death and hate
brainwashed and blind
dark and unkind
but look and look, you will only find

that in the end that there is nothing in hate
but a rotting of hearts and an empty fate
we can only hope you dont realise too late
that we are all equal and our resolve will not break.
