many people have said the software (games) that's a big issue (go M$ for buying Bungie)
The tweaking of the system is a definate bonus, and once you turn off the "gay" as i call it of winXP it's not too bad, granted you gotta go in there and turn off all the services that they decided you needed running to help you with every damn thing you tried to do.
I feel somewhat less masculine trying to decide between a mango or fucia (or however you decide to spell that damn color) computer.
The big kicker for me, is development. You just don't see ANY software dev companies for Macs.....granted this is big because i'm a programmer and all, but one thing M$ did right was release tools to let you develop for the platform.
Oh yeah, and the "My name is XXXXXXXXXXX and I switched to Apple because I'm a pretentious a$$hole" commercials are.......uuurrrgghhh!!!! the english language doesn't have words angry or powerful enough for me to fully convey my feelings on those.
