A few I just thought of:
Leon, the Professional. A great movie with tons of action, an over the top Gary Oldman, and an unconventional love story.
Following. From the same guy who did Memento (one of the best suspense/thrillers I've ever seen). Interesting story about a guy who follows people around. There's more to it than that, obviously.
And finally, Pi. From the director of Requiem for a Dream. Very odd story about a mathematician searching for a formula called the "Golden Circle".
