Does anyone know how this happened, how it can be fixed and any legit companies that will help us get our products listed on Google again?

Well, I don't know very much about the intricacies of the PageRank system, so I can't really shed any light on why this happened. The only thing I
do know is that the only 'legit company' that can help you get listed on Google, is Google itself via paid advertising.
<speculate>It is possible that your site redesign has caused problems that you didn't anticipate with your client's browsers. Lots of people are not using IE anymore - some web designers create non-compliant pages that only appear properly in IE. The Firefox browser blocks popup windows by default, so if your site relys on popup windows, you might want to reconsider that.
As for the PageRank problem, as I understand it that system ranks your site on the Google engine according to parameters that include the number of pages
that link to yours so if your site links changed, there are probably a bunch of dead links out there that aren't being ranked as 'yours'. I think the only way to 'fix it' without paying for advertising or 'going back' to the way it was is to wait until those sites refresh their links to yours.</speculate>
Of course, that whole thing could be all wrong, but I figured I'd shoot it out there. Good luck.
