I don't think it would be suitable for a four year old. Its great fun and not too hard, but there are some pretty difficult puzzles to solve sometimes. Like, there's one mission where you need to take certain xmen in your party to complete the mission. If you don't have them, then you either can't do it, or you have to go back to an Xtraction point and choose the correct xman with the power you need. I suggest you rent it first and see if he likes it.
