Side three of Rush's second live album, Exit...Stage Left (the double album, I don't have it on cd yet) has three songs: Broon's Bane, The Trees, and Xanadu all run together so it sounds like one really long, cool song. I don't smoke weed anymore, nor do I advocate its use, however, if you're gonna get high anyway...fuckin' A.
I used to hate live albums until I did the "sound guy" job for a local cover band. Since then I tend to judge musicians by how they sound live. Anybody can sound great in a studio with overdubs and many, many tries to get it right.
