You make some really insightful and eye opening points here. I thought the Switch ads were stupid too, until I switched and realized it was all true. Everything I had bashed them about was in error. There are few, if any, software issues, and there is an abundance of hardware available. I am not a gamer, and I have yet to run into any software that is available on PC that is not on Mac. Someone mentioned that the Mac and PC thing is like the beautiful luxury car (think
E55 AMG) off the showroom floor, or the ricer that the kid put together from other parts. Sure the ricer may be faster, but an E55 AMG is an E55 AMG.
I should let you all know that I did not intend for this to become a flame war/pissing contest. I just wanted honest opinions on why others do not like the Macintosh platform. I have
never found myself to be more passionate for something like I now am for Mac's. I am currently writing a ten page paper for class on them and their history. I also do not appreciate others calling my thread useless, as I did not come into their "mega videocard buying guide" thread and do so.
