This was a good discussion of the issues. Both men did very well.
As you know, I have no interest in the theatrical and rhetorical craft of debating. I think it is a puerile and entertainment-based way of trivializing any issue. To speak of winning and losing in an intelligent discussion of any issue is to speak as if a crucial matter is no more than a game.
Hopefully more than a few people see things this way.
