I will be honest. While I give Bush credit for certain things, I can always find reasons to want him out. While I had numerous issues with Clinton, I still supported him. I don't believe in being a single or limited issue voter. I commend elected officials for their successes, but it takes a great deal to convert me. You know, Reagan did a great deal towards bringing down the Soviet Union. At the time I did not agree with all of his actions. However, his domestic policies were IMO brutal and ineffective (no one has yet to convince me that "Trickle Down Economics" is a viable theory...) So, if in two years it turns out that Bush is right about Iraq, I will commend him on that point, but I still have enormous disagreements in regards to tax policy, social policy, fiscal responisbility, environmental policy...you get my drift. I just don't see politics as simple as that.
By the way, the original question was if in two years we are in a true mess, but frankly I think we already are in a true mess, it will only be worse in two years.
