I just wanted to highlight two things - the image "floating" is great at reducing burn in for static elements on the screen. This can be on games (heads up displays, maps, etc) or from network logos on TV broadcasts. Secondly, don't discount the effect of the sidebars on letterboxed material (or 4:3 material if your TV is 16:9). Grey is much better than black but still not foolproof.
Bottom line, vary your viewing material as much as is practical.
