I had a very strange experience a very long time ago when at school.
A group of us decided we would have a séance, not with an Ouija board but with a glass and lettered cards.
All was going well, we were asking questions and getting some answers. Each one of us accusing the others of pushing the glass and everyone fervently denying it.
Some bright spark then decided to ask the “spirit” if he was in heaven or in hell. The glass went crazy, moving around the table in circles, gradually getting faster and faster until it actually leapt up off the table. Not across the table and off but actually UP about two inches.
It would be great to know if anyone else has had a similar experience since, too this day I can’t explain how this might have happened.
