Bans of any sort are not handed out with consideration of political opinion. In fact, if they were, the "conservatives" of the board would get in trouble a considerable amount more, taking into account that there are only a few (literally) conservative moderators.
Anyways, bans are handed out not for the opinion expressed, but the way in which it is expressed. Personal attacks of ANY KIND are not accepted at all and those are what leads to a ban.
I'm stating this here so that everyone can see it because it is an important point.
