I think one that is very ironic, and not listed here is one that I'll remember forever.

In his last television interview on FOX, February 18, 2001, just before the start of the Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt told the reporter/interviewer, "I think y'all are gonna see something on FOX that you ain't never seen before." Little did he know (I'm sure) that he'd never see the checkered flag fall for that race, nor see the new driver he'd hired win his first ever race.
