One of my ex-boyfriends used to do that, on numerous occasions. It always seemed mysterious as to how he pulled it off, but I guess he just went slow. I thought it was pretty exciting to think about, personally, and I never minded at all. I even used to occasionally try to provoke him into it while pretending I was still asleep, just to see what he would do. Then one of our friends (who we hadn't ever mentioned our experience to) told us she had caught her boyfriend trying to do the same thing, and she chased him around the house with an axe threatening to cut it off! That really pointed out to me how differently people might feel about this.
