Here's what will happen in my opinion.
If Bush gets re-elected, it will be about a year before the wheels start coming off the wagon. Slowly, but surely, his stupidity and the arrogance and corruption (yes, corruption) of his administration will become painfully aparent.
By the end of his second term, he will be roundly detested and his "legacy" will be that of a fool.
