Before you eat any meal, have half an apple, and an 8oz glass of water. Both will make you feel more full, making you eat less at the table. Also, eat more slowly, and chew more thoroughly. Both of these things will help you realize when it is time to stop eating. We often get too much food into ourselves too fast. Portion control is key here. You can eat whatever you like, just not as much as you like.
