Wont post a lot in this thread... Just getting the ball rolling.
I came here after a few Google searches on various topics where I read a thread or two and liked the folks and "atmosphere" of the joint.
I am active on one other board relative to old HD motocycles. Don't care much for the new ones, nor many of the people that ride them, and I literally *despise* Harley Davidson due to experiences with their dealerships. They want to sell what I look and act like, but they don't give a rats ass about old bikers who aren't about to drop $20K on a new bike.
I fly sport kites. Hey, it's cheap entertainment after the initial investment.
I'm into astronomy - used to be active on SPACE.COM. But the NASA bashing got to me so I just lost interest. Built my own 'scope, but living in Dallas isn't a real bonus if you're trying to look at the sky. Oh well...
That's enuff for now. I'll poke around a bit.
