This film is based on a true story - which makes it even more hard hitting. You either love or hate the work of Larry Clark (Kids, Gummo), but be prepared - his work is not for the squeamish. He uncovers the ugliness that lies in mundane, everyday life.
Nick Stahl is one of the most underated actors around. If you haven't seen "My life as a house" with Nick and Kevin Kline, it is worthwhile. His choices in roles are brave and I think he is poised to be one of the next important actors...
