It is
entirely possible to secure a WLAN in such a manner that will prevent any hacking.
With regards to justifying stealing someone else's bandwidth, simply because "it's there" and it's "their own fault", I think you and I will simply have to disagree.
It
is no different from stealing something from someone's house. I guess you're the kind of guy who would pick up a ball of cash left lying just outside someone's door because it was their own "damn fault" for dropping it.
