Yes and no. It's called "liquid courage". No balls involved here. Just lowered her in the eyes of the officers. Not a good way to get out without a lot of fines and other charges. She played this totally wrong.
I'm so sorry for those kids. Can you imagine the fear they had? My daughter who is 4 complains if I go around a corner too fast or stop quickly. They had to be aware of the erratic driving to a point. And then to have their mom screaming, thrown into a police car and carted off to jail... What a role model. I truely hope that she doesn't get to "parent" her kids ever again.
