I see your point, you're basically trying to claim that men are less capable parents than woman and using this idea to bolster your assertion that gay marriage would be bad thing because it would take mothers out of their most efficient role as child bearers. Let me reiterate my point to you, though. There is absolutely no scientific evidence that men are any less capable parents than woman. None. Not one shred that isn't completely anecdotal. I don't care if your friend wrote a million papers regarding a woman's ability to exert 80% more energy because that is not relevant. Even if it was, "I know a guy who says this" is rarely sufficient evidence for anything under any circumstances. Is that the clarity you've been begging for?
