Cheryl Jacques, head of the Washington, D.C.-based Human Rights Campaign, which represents homosexuals, bisexuals and transgendered people, said Swaggart should preach equality for all Americans.
Ok granted the dude is ancient.. and granted as a christian you are supposed to view the situation of a gay person as you love the person as you love everyone created by god, yet you with a passion hate the sin.
as a christin one can never preach equality for all americans. why is this. going with a christian bible you cant. america as a whole is against the bible. abortions, gay marrages and activities.. in the old testiment, god blasted a city off the earth.. sodom and gamorha off the earth for thier activities that went against god. yet i could careless if they get married and shack up. The end justifies the means. one can talk about it all they want, in the end we will all see who was right. heh. now if a polition did this i could see him speaking of equality, or on a issue of black and white americans.
i for one would never say such a thing, nor would i allow'd it to be said. granted im from louisiana and yes i do know the man, having met him 5 times in my life and sat down and talked to him for over an hour before. in some people thier views over time and age get clouded and they take the part where you love everyone and hateing the sin they do, to hateing the people along with the sin.. which in this case is wrong.
note: aside from being a christian, i dont usally toss my thoughts in a thread like this.. i agree with the statements mostly aside for that line. not trying to start anything just pointing out what the christian bible says.

It means only one thing, and everything: Cut. Once committed to fight, Cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. The lines are a portrayal of the dance. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut with certainty. Cut decisively, resoultely. Cut into his strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't allow him a breath. Crush him. Cut him without mercy to the depth of his spirit. It is the balance to life: death. It is the dance with death. It is the law a war wizard lives by, or he dies.
