He did all the main quests and blew through the story line without doing any side quests, looking for any silver keys, demon doors, etc., didn't marry anyone, etc. If you take the time to do every single thing that every "green dot" NPC asks and do all the silver quests at the guild, the game is much longer than 8 hours.
