Perhaps you had better narrow down your request, mate. What state are you in? How far do you want to travel? Are you driving or flying? Do you prefer beach or country? And when you arrive, do you like to relax and spend time at the beach, or are you looking for action?
I live in SE Queensland, and prefer to spend time on the Gold Coast when I get away - the quieter end down towards Coolongatta. Actually, I'm there right now, in Palm Beach. Awesome beaches, lots of sun, heaps to do, great places to eat, the kids love it. Suits me down to the ground.
