Oh.. don't think I ever mentioned...

I can drive stick... but I'm absolutely shit at it... I've never owned a car that was stick.. so I never bothered to learn.

So I come over here.. go to VicRoads to get an Aussie license... after taking some 20 (or was it 40?) question test (and that was it.. no road test), they give me my license... with the ability to drive stick... gotta love it

I was also 19 at this time.. and was a fucking bees dick away from having her give me my full license (instead of probationary). At the last minute she said "no... I better go check with my supervisor" and he said no. Ah well.. that's my short story of easily getting a license in Australia.
