As with any printers, don't look at the cost of the printer, look at the cost of replacement cartridges and how many prints per cartridge on average you can get.
Most compnaies practically give away the printer because they make their money on the ink/toner cartridges. Do your homework and figure out the one that will be cheapest in the long run, not just right now.
So far at work we have found HP's to be pretty reliable in the long run. We tend to get many good years from the initial investment. We just staryed buying Dell printers so it's to early to tell. I believe the Dell ones are actually manufactured by Lexmark.
