Here's their lineup for ya:
PG's:
Marko Jaric (3rd Year): During his rookie year, he was my great white hype. During his sophomore year, he was just white.
Shaun Livingston (Rookie): Much is expected out of this Peoria Central High Schooler. Clips traded away a chance at Emeka Okafor for him. Let's just hope he's more "LeBron" and less "Jason Williams." He really needs to put on some weight, too.
Lionel Chalmers, Jr. (Rookie): Coming out of Xavier, he looks like a semi-solid guard with 16.6 PPG, 40 Steals, 405 Assists, and 101 Threes in his last college season.
SG's:
Kerry Kittles (8th year): Kerry Kittles was widely known as the second-worst starter on the Nets, next to Jason Collins. Now he's the second-best starter on the Clippers. Go figure.
Bobby Simmons (4th year): He scored over 50 points in a preseason game last year, but he hasn't done much else. His game is still improving, but he's still a scrub.
Quinton Ross (Rookie): Who the heck is this guy?
Note: Corey Maggette can also play SG.
SF's:
Corey Maggette (6th year): FINALLY scoring over 20 PPG, he's just about as inconsistent as Chris Webber, only Webber has height. Amazingly athletic, you'd think he'd use his body to win some games.
Note: Bobby Simmons can also play SF.
PF's:
Elton Brand (6th year): Elton Brand IS the Clippers. 'Nuff said.
NO OTHER POWER FORWARDS!
C's:
Chris Kaman (2nd Year): This man DEFINITELY has LOTS of room for improvement, but he's a respectable hard-worker, which is unheard of with this team.
Zeljko Rebraca (4th Year): Who?
Mamadou N'diaye (5th Year): Who?
Mikki Moore (9th Year): Who?
Josh Moore (Rookie): Who?
So there you have it: 4 rookies (one of which was drafted last year but didn't earn any PT), 5 CRAPPY centers, an over-the hill shooting guard, a dependency on a rookie point guard, and ONE superstar Power Forward, who they're more than likely going to drop the entire load of the team's woes on.
I'll be lucky if they can give the Bobcats a run for their money.
