And as for the penny, I would agree. I read an article that I'l have to look for about a store owner who rounds all of his sales to the nearest dollar (in the customer's favor of course) so that he doesn't have to make change.

Hey, I've actually been to that store - I forgot all about it, but you're right - when I was there, they rounded down. It brought my purchase of fake poo down from $3.45 to $3.
That was a good bargain for fake poo.
