The firewall is there for a reason. The company doesn't want you wasting their bandwidth downloading crap with p2p clients.
Firewalls typically log everything that they block. Do you really want to be red flagged by the IT staff?
IT professionals really hate users who don't stay below their radar. Don't be that guy. The rules are the rules, follow them.
