Ok - I thought that too (although I love shows that have the BALLS to kill of major charachters - always have). Best case then is that he is in an extended coma while Lionel establishes himself as the new Dr Evil. I think it would be neat if he took Lex's name. It would also be cool if they did some kind of brain transplant and had Lionel exchange bodies with Lex. Sounds weak when I write it though. I bet there are lots of things they can do with this either way.
Oh yeah - you might know this, why is Lex Bald again. I know it is something from the day Clark came to earth, but I don't know exactly what.
