Awesome game. Lately my friends and I have been playing like this: you press 'a' off a character twice, which randomizes, and choose the one you want (you can only play a character once). After a little while at this we are good at most of the characters by now. My favorites include Pikachu, Falco, Bowser, Ness, Marth, and Mario, in my opinion these are some of the strongest, although it's easy to get lucky with about any character if you're "on". I've dominated games with Jiggly when my down-b attack is on
Pikachu and Pichu are probably the easiest to get the hang of, all the swords players aren't too bad to get used to, either. Toughest to play well is definitely Ness. I can PK Thunder myself easy but I rarely rarely hit anybody
