I used to have Deja Vu as a symptom of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy which is a kind of Petit-mal Seizure.

The feelings were exactly like Deja Vu ony alot more intense than i had experienced before and always associated with feelings of fear or even r#terror of the objects or surroundings I was "re-experiencing".

I've had two Grand-Mal Seizures. The second one (last year) was preceded by an "aura" which was a feeling of dreaming and distance from reality, but Deja-Vu didn't figure at all.
