Federer mauls Hewitt in straight sets: 6-0, 7-6, 6-0.
"When he plays like he did today, he's in a different league than the other players I've played the last two weeks," Hewitt said. "He's such a big-time player. He plays some of his best tennis in the big matches."
Overall, Federer is 64-6 with nine titles this season. The one Grand Slam blemish on Federer's resume this year is the French Open, where he lost in the third round to three-time champion Gustavo Kuerten.
"He may go down in history -- he's getting there -- as the greatest player who's ever played," John McEnroe said.

I was shocked that Hewitt was bageled in 2 SETS! He came into this Open having just won 2 straight titles...16 straight matches.
It's the ghost of Pete Sampras.
