As a matter of fact...yes, that is my ribbon rack. When my first wife and I divorced, she somehow managed to get one of the boxes that had some of my military "memorabilia" in it. Amoung the contents of that box was my Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievment Medal, my ribbon rack, various photos, and a bunch of other stuff that I don't even remember. She has, I've recently discovered, disposed of them in the ensuing years. I did manage to retain my Good Conduct Medal, Security Police Shield, Master SP Function Badge, and some lesser items.

A friend of mine told me about about a company that replaces "missing" military medals and such. www.usmedals.com. On that site, I pieced together my ribbon rack online, and ordered it. I also saved the image of the rack that the site displayed. If the quality of the ribbons is good, I may opt to replace my medals. We'll see.

It is indisputable that true beauty lies within...but a nice rack sure doesn't hurt.
