Not sure when Fashion Week is but...
You could try posting an ad on Craig's List. There are a few like it already, but you never know.
Try writing to the various fashion magazines, and ask for an invite to a party, or for one of the shows Tell them it's for your fiance's wedding gift, really sell it, ya never know.
Write to some of the various designers, especially not the really famous ones, you might score an invite or two that way.
